Be different……… To make a difference

Down Syndrome International together with Down Syndrome South Africa invites everyone across the world to BE DIFFERENT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE on 21 March 2013 (or any other day in March) to raise awareness on World
Down Syndrome Day.

We want people talking about World Down Syndrome Day on  21 March, and we can achieve this if we are dress differently. You can wear different shoes, wear your tie back to front, paint your nails different colors, where a wig or your cap back to front. As a nation what ever you choose to wear you will be joining us in spreading the word and creating as much awareness around the condition of Down syndrome.

It is easy to do, so whether you are at home, school, University, work, play, travel, holiday or anywhere, join in!

On 21 March 2013 (or any other day in March), wear different clothes and Be Different, to make a Difference. Invite all your friends, family and
colleagues to do the same you can also:
    • Order a World Down Syndrome Day “Be Different to Make a Difference” button badge for R21 as people who have Down syndrome their 21st chromosome is triplicated.
  • Contact Down Syndrome South Africa or your closest branch for awareness materials and posters.
